€12,000 Eiffel Scholarship for Doctorate and Master in France 2020-2021

Scholarship Description:

The Eiffel student grant for Master and Doctorate degree program is ongoing for the 2020/2021 academic session. This Eiffel exchange scholarship will be taken in France and is being organized by several higher institutions.

It is designed to award it’s beneficiaries with amount worth up to € 12,000 for their tuition, accommodation, and other relevant expenses attached to schooling in France.

The available courses of study are Law, Human Sciences, and a couple of other courses as indicated on the scholarship application form found on their website.

The scholarship is open to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria listed by the scholarship provider.

The deadline of application for the Eiffel exchange scholarship is Jan 31, 2020.

Level of scholarship

French higher education institutions which present candidates for the Eiffel program, undertake to register them:

  • either in courses leading to a master’s degree;
  • either in an engineering degree
  • Or either a doctorate as part of a joint supervision or thesis co-supervision with a partner foreign higher education institution.

Field of study

The available courses of study are Law, Human Sciences, and a couple of other courses as indicated on the scholarship application form found on their website.

Scholarship Amount

It is designed to award it’s beneficiaries with amount worth up to € 12,000 for their tuition, accommodation, and other relevant expenses attached to schooling in France.

The following are not eligible:

  • Students who already receive a grant from the French government cannot be candidates.
  • Students who have already submitted their application for the Eiffel scholarship without success can no longer apply, even in the event of a change in field of study.
  • Applicants for Masters programs in 1 year
  • Applicants for a double degree program cannot be candidates for the scholarship, except for the following 3 programs:
  • Journalism Sciences Po / Columbia University (candidates for this program are eligible)
  • Environmental Sciences and Politics Sciences Po / Pierre Marie Curie University (only students already in first year are eligible)
  • Quantitative Economics Sciences Po / Panthéon Sorbonne Paris I (only students already in first year are eligible).

How to Apply?

Students cannot apply for the Eiffel scholarship themselves. A higher education institution must submit applications. If you are a student in two higher education institutions, you can only submit one application.

Newly arrived applicants who wish to be presented to Campus France by Sciences Po must indicate this in the “financial information” section of their Sciences Po application and attach the required documents. Please note that your grant request will only be taken into account in the event of admission.

Application closing date – The deadline of application for the Eiffel exchange scholarship is Jan 31, 2020.
